How did he get like that, well…
How should I know?

Wolf’s Eyes
They tell of his bravery,
His entire life and history,
I look and see a wolf watching me,
But in his eyes it’s no surprise there is honor and loyalty,
Right there for all to see.

Pond
Turtle, turtle swimming by,
Zip, zoom, buzz, there went a fly,
Splash, splosh fish,
Make a wish,
Time to say goodbye,

The Wind
The wind blows the world back and forth
It batters and blows south, west, east, and north,
But can be gentle enough to just barely blow grass,
And strong enough to blow objects of large mass,
And not many people can obtain,
A way to be both without pain or strain

My Final Product Cause and Effect Creation for Three Cups of Tea the Story of Greg Mortenson
Greg is an intelligent and friendly lad
And what a goal he had
To climb K2
Into the sky of blue

He thought of his goal as selfish and bad
When he saw children learning dirt clad
Then a new goal arose to be fulfilled
It was a new school which Greg must build

He made many improvements to the people’s lives
And encouraged the education of the girls and wives
The children now play in the school yard very loud
Greg is sure his sister would be proud

Life
welcome warmth,
love laughter,
appreciate affection,
is to living as;

greeting greed,
obtaining obsessions,
declaring defeat,
is to grief.

Summer Holiday's Essay

The Approaching Summer Holidays Rough Draft

The weeks have turned to days, the excitement at school is building, but it is accompanied by a heart ache. Sadly this is my last school year in Serbia, I don’t know where I’m going, but I am leaving only a few short days after school is out. I have mixed feelings for the coming holidays because the end of school and the family I will see. Summer holidays are in a few weeks, and most people are excited, the only thing I’m sure of is uncertainty.
Now, as the days grow longer and the remaining school days grow shorter, excitement is all over the school. The kids come with more energy and light in their eyes. The boat party is coming up. The middle school play is this week. We also have more homework; it’s the end of the quarter so projects and tests deadlines are coming up. The end of the quarter is always stressful and I look forward to it passing but this time, there will be no school after. Each day my classmates are counting how many days remain with glee, but I groan at the thought of leaving.
Only a few weeks left, teachers are beginning to set deadlines for projects and dates for tests. We have little homework that can easily be done.  Often we put off projects as long as we can. There is a lot to do now that it’s the end, MAP testing is long past and the days are longer. Every day kids count down more and more. “Two weeks and a bit! Wow, it’s almost the end!” Most people can’t wait for summer holidays, but I wish there was more school, I can’t wait until we go back but moving is hard. I’m going to leave all my friends perhaps to never see them again, I might not have internet for most of the summer, I’ll have only family. That’s not so bad though, I haven’t seen my relatives for a long while and I finally will get to live near them. I will miss my friends, and the school in general, especially the library. I’ll have to buy the books I want to read from now on.
I really hate moving, all the chaos, living in a hotel for weeks, not having anywhere to go that’s quiet. This time, there are benefits. I may be able to stay with my grandmother. I really would love that, but it’s hard because I can’t decide if I am grateful for the move or despising it. I’ll be able to do a lot of things if I only live an hour or so from my grandparents and cousins. My Nan’s good friends have a young horse who they are trying to train to ride who I will be able to work with. I will be able to spend time with my cousin Caitlin and help her with her sister Isabelle. I will see two of my cousins before they go off to college who knows where. I will see all my friends from early childhood again.
Point made, there are many pros and cons of moving, but I still feel uncertain. I will go to a new school but I will be near family. How would you feel? I know I feel confused. I guess I will have to see the move through and then go from there. Maybe, one day I will come back and see everyone here, see some things I haven’t seen before, revisit some. I guess I will have to try my best.
