Cat Among the Pigeons

Title: Cat Among the Pigeons
Author: Agatha Christie
Number of pages: 240
Number of pages read: 80

The book "Cat Among the Pigeons" is a classic mystery book by a fantastic author Agatha Christie. So far there is nothing "exciting" in the book. The main setting is in England, Meadowbank school for girls. It's a wonderful place for girls all ages until one night when one of the teachers has been murdered. Who murdered her and why? Is the murderer with them everyday at school? There are many characters and I don't know half of their names! There are about 10 teachers (math, English, PE, etc.), lots of students but a few of them mentioned and many more. My favorite part so far was the murderer of a teacher (I don't want to say her name) because it is very mysterious and scary. I get scared whenever I think of it! I can't wait to finish the book and find out who is the murderer!

I would recommend this book to children/teens over the age of 10 because the story is a little confusing at the beginning and crime (murderer/killing) happens in the book. If you enjoy mystery and crime this book is for you. Agatha Christie wrote many other books from this series. I would rate this book 7/10 maybe. I'm giving the book this rate because the beginning is really boring to me and i think that the turning point/climax of the book is in the wrong place. If I was writing the book the climax would be at about 50 pages or so. It took me time ti concentrate while reading this book. There are a lot of things happening in the beginning and that's why I gave it a 7. :)

Title: If Your Reading This it's Too Late
Author: Pseudonymous Bosch
Number of pages: 365
Pages read: 288
"If Your Reading This it's Too Late",  is about a girl named Cassandra and a Boy named Max- Earnest. These two twelve year old friends are on a quest to protect the sound ball that lead them to the homunculus. (The homunculus is a creature that grew in a bottle 500 years ago!) They are trying to protect them both because the enemy called the Midnight Sun are after them! Can Cassandra and Max- Earnest conquer the Midnight Sun? Will they complete their mission and get the homunculus to safety?

I would recommend this book from ages ten and up because this book is so thrilling and so exciting and scary! All in one! This book is in a series of 4 books! I would recommend all of them! If you want an exciting, thrilling, breathtaking book, this book should be your choice! So far I would rate 9/10 since this book is a secret they sometimes don't mention the names of some characters. Instead they just put xxxxx xxx, xxxxx. I find that annoying but it doesn't spoil the reading!

A Is For Alibi

This book is about a private investigator named Kinsey Millhone, who lives in Santa Teresa. She finds herself, one day, face to face with Nikki Fife; a woman accused of killing her husband, and was sent to jail. Nikki claims to be innocent, and wants Kinsey to find out who really killed her husband, by the name of Laurence Fife. Kinsey immediately sets out on the case. She interviews people who were close to the murdered, those who are number one suspects on her list, and and anyone else who might have information, such as Charlie Scorsoni, Laurence Fife's law partner and best friend, Gwen, who was Laurence's first wife, and many more. Kinsey Millhone is one of the best around, and I think if anyone could solve the case, she could.

I'd rate this book 8/10 so far. Though I haven't come across an inappropriate part, there are some strong references, so I would only recommend it to people who are okay with reading that type of thing.
