I am now starting to read Little Women. There are 4 girls Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. Meg is the oldest 17 years old, she is very beautiful, has ambitions but able to push them away to find her way into love. Jo is sixteen, she is very boyish she is always wishing she was a boy, but she loves to read and write. Beth who is thirteen gives all her love to her family and joy to her music. Amy who is 12 the youngest of the March girls tries to overcome her selfishness and girlishness. Right now it is christmas time. The girls feel as if their mother gives so much to them that they should give something back. All the girls go out and buy there mother beautiful things like slippers, gloves, and perfume. On Christmas day all the girls wake up and each find a book under their beds. The book gave good advice to them that would help them through life. At breakfast time they were going to have a lovely meal but there mother has found a family who are cold and starving. The girls go visit the family and give them their breakfast and make a fire for them. Later they come back home and give their mother the beautiful presents.

I think I will enjoy reading this book. I am not sure what is going to happen in this book but it seems interesting.

Moonfleet

I am currently reading a book called Moonfleet and it is about a fifteen year old boy named John Trenchard whose parents did year ago and he is living with his aunt, Miss Arnold, they all live in a small village called Moonfleet were there never made new house so when it was really old they just took it down so there a gaps in the streets. He was walking around town when he saw his friend who was working on a grave stone for a man.He came to help hold the light and when he saw what happened, a boy his age was shot. After that the man invited him to go to the Why Not? inn to get a drink. He went with him but he was just looking how the owner of the inn and the man were player a game. There was no noise except the dice rolling. After a while the owner said that he should go back home so he did.

Northen Lights Masha Westerveen

I read a book called Northern Lights by Philip Pullman. He wrote the story about a girl who had a father she didn't know of who had a very important job in the North. But one day her father among other children disappeared. Lyra, the main character was determined to find her father as well as her friends.

Lyra was a girl of 12 who attended a College in Oxford called Jordan College. She learned barely anything there except to get into trouble. She was a determined child, and very stubborn too because she didn't know that she was getting herself into trouble and no amount of warning would keep her away. She went to the North where she met armoured bears and witches (and only a few were ready to help her). She tried to find her friend first, Roger who she had as a friend when she was really small. When she found him, she learned about a group known as the Gobblers who stole children to separate them from their daemons. Daemons are the souls of humans, and if separated the person would lose their soul. The Gobblers say they did it because substance from the sky would  kill them in the future if they don't do it.
Lord Asriel, Lyra's father in the mean time wanted to gain power by joining two worlds with each other, so the humans would be allowed to pass through an invisible wall into the new world. Lord Asriel Needed a child to finis his mission, and Lyra, who thought that she was saving Roger, actually brought him to Lord Asriel for him to perform his experiment. In the next book, Lyra will learn what is there in the new world.

She explains bits (1 and 0) and their codes (01001110) and when you subconsciously give of those codes.I now know that I am an Auto kinetic. I can absorb, store, control, and give energy. Using this power, I can stay awake longer than the average human, scan people to see their personalities and power, and be more persistent with my actions. I can now do more than I could a year ago, and that's all thanks to this book (P.S: Miss Hancock, you are a Terra kinetic and an Empath.)

Sophies World-A novel about the History of Philosophy

Sophie's world is a fantastic book! This novel talkes about philosophy but the best part is that it isnt a bunch of facts thrown at you it has a story with philosophy in it. 

So the story goes like this. Sophie a small 12 year old girl, opened the mail box one day and flicked threw the letters and suprisingly one of the letters were for her. The letter had no stamp and had no name adressing who had sent it. Later that day she found 2 more letters. All three had intresting questions or suprising things to say, The first one asked " Who are you? The second asked where does the world come from and the third was a birthday note adressed to Hilde Moller Knag and Sophie. All three made her made her think really hard, how is it that she didnt even know who she was or where the world came from and who the heck is Hilde Moller Knag and Who is sending these messages? Her mind was boggled with tons of ideas. The mysterious letter sender kept sending messages but not with questions any more but with lessons of philosophy.

This book really makes me think. The biggest thing that really affected me and made me realize is that people are so used to the magnificent things of the world that they don't really appreciate them. For example the shape of snow or how snow falls. I took this to a test against my parents. I found it just amazing that the tea bag spread its color and taste in the water, so i said my dad, " Dad look isn't this really awesome how the bag spreads its color and taste". He said " wow, that cool". Now you see he said the things you want to hear but the way he said it wasn't so convincing. Try this with your parents, you will see the mysterious philosopher was correct.

How To Stand Yourself?

There is a girl named Rose and she is high school. Everybody in her school shaves their legs, is thin and has perfect skin.....except for Rose. In P.E class, she was in shorts and everybody called her legs a jungle. When all of her classmates went to art class, everybody had to draw her portrait, and everybody put a whole lot of pimples on her face, from then she was called a Polkadot jungle. Lastly, when everybody went to lunch, she ate so much that everybody laughed and at the end her nickname was Miss Piggy. During her time, there was a celebrity called Miss Piggy, she was very fat, but beautiful. From that day on, Rose didn't do P.E, art, and didn't eat anything at school for a week, until she got an idea. She went to a shop of costumes next door and bought Miss Piggy's costume. When she arrived back home, she went to the bathroom, took her step father's shaving kit and started shaving her legs. There was blood all over the place since this was her first time to shave. She quickly went to the shower to wash the blood off, but there were deep scratches left. She wanted to wear Miss Piggy's costume to school, but she was too scared, shy, and ashamed to wear the costume. Of course, she did put make up on for the first time, covered her scratches on her legs with makeup powder, put on a very short skirt and a see-through shirt. She was never like this before, usually it was just baggy jeans, sweaters, and sneakers. Now, it was skirts, see-through shirts, and high heels. But, when she came to school.......

Twilight/New Moon

This week I read the entire Twilight and about 3/4 of New Moon. They are books in a series that contains four books. All of them are by the same Author who's name is Stephanie Meyer.

My favorite parts in general are whenever Bella, the main character, gets saved by either Edward Cullen or Jacob Black. Edward Cullen, in the first book, was Bella's boyfriend, but he found t too dangerous for her to be around him because she had gotten injured so many times because of him and he loved her too much to see anything else happen to her. Also it is very hard for him to resist her blood because for some reason he has this craving for her. Jacob Black becomes her best friend in the second book when Edward leaves, he turns out to be a werewolf. The reason I like the parts when Bella needs to be saved is because there is action, a little thrill goes through your body because of the action and the near-death experiences that she has. I also like the ending of the first book because in this series the climax points in all of the books is at the end. They are filled with detail about the fight that goes on. It is the most exciting, that part that gets my mom mad because I don't go to sleep and I do not want to do anything besides finish the book. Its that type of thing. I think these books are actually great. I never even thought of reading them before, and then we were at the airport on our way back to America and there was nothing else to read so I bought the first book and Now i can't get enough!!
