So far there are no clear protagonists since for the first 20 pages the author was introducing 10 different characters that were invited to spend a vacation on the Indian Island by its newest owner, Mr.Owen. There had been various rumors about the Indian Island and how it had various owners over the months. So far there are no clear protagonist but Vera Claythorne seems to be the most developed character right now.

Vera Claythorne is a former governess when the book begins. When she gets offered a summer job on the Indian Island to work as a secretary for Mrs. Una Owen. As Vera enters her room she notices a poem of the "Ten little Indians" where each one slowly gets murdered one by one this intrigues her. Like the other characters she has a dark secret that she wants to escape. At her previous job she was a governess to a spoiled rich kid name Cyril Hamilton. She let Cyril drown so that his relative, Hugo, would get inherit his money and then she could marry him. Unfortunately for her Hugo had no intention of being with her once she let Cyril drown. Vera's guilt memories plague her as she remembers all the bad things she's done.

One of the most suspicious characters is Philip Lombard. He has a very different past from any other person on the Island...He is a world traveler and a former military man who served as a soldier of fortune in Africa. In the epilogue, one of the policemen describes him as having "been mixed up in some very curious shows abroad.." He comes to the Island after Isaac Morris hires him. Supposedly because Mr.Owen needs "A good man in a tight spot." Lombard usually carries a gun and is described as moving like the "panther."

Sherlock homes is a thirteen year old boy that is a detective he is very brave and a risk-taker. From his previous books that I have read he is a detective that has managed to solve every mystery and is very smart to put clues together.So far the killer is unknown and the cause too i have not gotten so far into the book to know

     From what I read so far, the protagonist in this book is Nathan. He is fourteen years old and he has a job to do at night which he has to do but doesn't really want to. The job is to be the light house keepers assistant. Nathan and his father work the night shifts while four other people work the day shift. Nathan's mother is sick and her cough is getting worse again.

     The antagonist still has not appeared in the story, however  I think it might  be the survivor who is on the island. It can also be people from lighthouse George because Nathan, his father and the people from the lighthouse all want to find the man who is on the shore. They know that there is a man on the shore because they found one pair of footprints there. So far, I really like the story and can't wait to see what will happen next.

The A.B.C Murders by Agatha Christie-Protagonist

The A.B.C murders is a very mysterious novel by Agatha Christie. She has written lots of other books but this is one of her most famous ones. This book has 228 pages and I am on page 31.


The protagonist in the book I am reading is none other than the infamous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. I have read many books that include him in it and he is simply a complete genius. He includes every detail in his theories and cases. And he somehow keeps track of them and includes them in explanations of the murderers in other books. He is not the kind of detective that looks at fingerprints and the changes in a room but rather the way all of the suspects are acting. His appearance is a very round egg-shaped head, a thin mustache(which he is very proud of), a short and round body and very mysterious-like green eyes. 


 Hercule Poirot is sitting in a chair in his flat in London in the year of 1935 and an old friend comes in. Poirot's mascot, Captain Hastings had come to visit. Poirot had gotten a letter a couple of days earlier about a threat to him. Someone by the initials A.B.C was going to murder someone. And true enough the day after, an old lady was murdered. Her name was Mrs. Ascher. She owned a little shop that sold old newspapers and tobacco. Her divorced husband, Franz Ascher, a german, had been suspected to have killed her because he always came into her shop to threaten to beat her and all that violent stuff. Now Inspector Japp of Scotland Yard, Captain Hastings, and Hercule Poirot must find the clues to who the murderer really is.


I think the murderer is Franz Ascher because he yelled at the police and at Poirot when he was told he was a suspect. And he threatened to kill her and beat her(which I have already mentioned).

 The book Is about eight grade girl her father died two years ago and she wants to be a typewriter like her dad used to be and her mother works as a doctor and has a little younger brother.

 It all starts when the girl named Gilda Joyce has a class and Its the last day of school and the teacher asked each student where will they be going this summer each of them answered even Gilda's best friend named Wendy Choy she said she will be going to a music camp Gilda was surprised because they would spend every summer together but probably not this one. Then It was Gilda's turn to answer and she was thinking and said I will be going to San Francisco and everyone was laughing even the teacher was mysterious and asking her question what will you be doing their he said, she answered she will be writing a book. They were teasing her but she didn't listen she decided to go her own way and make her dreams come true. Then she was wondering what she can say to her Mom to get to go to America to write a story. Then she said to her mom that and remembered that she has a further cousin and that’s how the adventure will start.

 The protagonist Is a girl named Gilda because she turned her back and decided to go her own way and make her dreams come true .The antagonist is the classmates because they tease her and they don’t back her up instead of being mean and thinking she Is not going to succeed In this.

Second Person Perspective

       Death in the Air is a mystery novel written by Shane Peacock, it was published in 2008 by Tundra Books.
       The protagonist, main character, of the story is Sherlock Holmes. He is thirteen years old. He is a tall, black haired, hawk-like nosed, grey eyed genius. He is a determined boy, due to the awful event that occurred recently, which filled him with sadness as well. The death of  Sherlock's mother moved him closer to his dream of being a detective than he could have imagined. After her death, he convinced himself that even he must show no emotion, he pushed himself so far that he stopped all of his friendships to work on his detective skills. Without his mental strength, willingness to learn and confidence, he would never be able to achieve what he has since his mother died. Nobody else would be able to watch a man die right next to them and then force themselves not to panic but to observe the scene and think straight. Nobody would be confident enough to take on a case involving a brutal murder all alone and inexperienced at the age of thirteen.
       However, to fight bad, Sherlock Holmes uses bad. He isn't entirely principled, it seams that he doesn't mind using others peoples wrong doings to help him go further, using other people a bit does not seam to bother Sherlock, he is slightly self-centered. His determination seams to be his strongest point, at no scene so far, does evidence from the book support that the young Holmes is incredibly caring. There haven't been any actions that were only taken due to somebody else, all his actions seem to revolve around him.
       So far, there have been no meetings with the antagonist, but he must have been swift, well coordinated and both physically and mentally clever. As the murderer(s) must have made to perfectly calculated cuts in a trapeze bar in front of hundreds of people without being seen. The murder may have been to improve his/her/their jobs (taking out a main circus star) or an act of jealousy. I assume that the antagonist will be an experienced criminal, ruthless and accompanied. He may be doing it as an order...

The protagonist of my novel is a detective named Nick diamond who is very quick thinking. There are two reasons why Nick is the protagonist. First he is very quick thinking and using those skills he saves both him and his brother Tim. His brother Tim Diamond is not only Nick's brother but also the antagonist of the story. This story has quite a few antagonist. They are not really connected. There are two teams of antagonists. One team is not related to Nick diamond at all accept that protagonist - antagonist relation ship but the other antagonist team is a one man team that has a relation with Nick.
The name of this antagonist is Tim Diamond. Yes the brother of the protagonist himself. Now they don't have any anger - revenge filled relation in fact they are brother and are happy with each other. However this is why Tim is considered an antagonist. First he is very close to Nick which means that Tim is Nick's weakness. Second since he isn't a quick thinker he can not only endanger his but also his brother's life. The other proper team of antagonist are probably Lenny Smile and his 2 assistants, Rodney hoover and Fiona lee. It is not necessary that there is any relation between all three so it's
just my prediction. There is however a suspicion on Lenny Smile. Mr. Cart who is an american crime novelist who had given two million dollars to a charity called Dream Time. He trusted the runner of charity because he was a saint. They were pen pals. They had never met but when Carter wanted to meet Lenny, Lenny had died. he was run over by a steamroller during mid night. Mr. Joe Carter says that something is weird himself on page 13 last paragraph. There is not any physical traits in the book so far, all the hints given of how the characters look and their personality traits are all written in the blog.
