I recommend this book to all mystery lovers, I recommend this book to mystery lovers because of course its a mystery and it is for teens, my age kids. It not a really hard to follow mystery so that is the reason I recommend it for our age but little kids might get a little lost, I actually got lost a little at the beginning but I just reread the part and I was fine till the end. I got confused because the name of the book is "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" so I thought Roger Ackroyd was murdered but then they were talking about his wife being murdered and stuff and i was convinced that it had nothing to do with Roger Ackroyd getting murdered but as i read on i found out he got murdered as well. More proof was the fact that I thought the Poirot and Dr. Sheppard were the same person but they weren't and Poirot is actually a famous character apearing in 33 novels and 60 short stories solving why he was so familiar to me.

I would recommend this book to people who like to follow each clue and every word the characters says, who enjoys complex investigations. Of course Hercule Poirot solved the murder. 

For instance, it appeared there were 4 extra clocks at the room where the body was found.

‘The only thing at all remarkable about it was the profusion of clocks—a grandfather clock ticking in the corner, a Dresden china clock on the mantelpiece, a silver carriage clock on the desk, a small fancy gilt clock on a whatnot near the fireplace and on a table by the window, a faded leather travelling clock, with ROSEMARY in worn gilt letters across the corner. ‘
Also, Hercule Poirot said: ‘It appears to be so complex. If it has necessarily to appear complex, it must be simple.’ This means the mystery is not that complex just the there were some useless items to complicate it.

I wouldn't like to recommend this book to my peers because the story is dealing with adult’s themes brought through the eyes of an adult. ‘Well, he’s gone beyond the Iron Curtain, hasn’t he?’ I had to research about the Iron Curtain to understand what they were implicating.

Most of us would probably have no idea what some of the jobs that are mentioned are. ‘A Miss Pebmarsh rang up. She wants a stenographer at three o’clock.’

There are also lots of rather strange expressions:

‘Chloral hydrate was added to alcohol of some kind – known as Mickey Finn.’ or ‘Why did you really go to see him? Was it purely the milk of human kindness?’

Overall, the book is fun, intriguing and amusing. I think what I like best about it is that the author really provided the readers with all the clues throughout the story so you can solve the mystery, at least part of it. My prediction that Ms. Martindale had something to do with the murder was correct.

I would recommend this book to my peers because it is full of exciting adventures, and I know that my peers would enjoy this book, because everyone loves reading Mystery books.

In general just everybody enjoys reading books like the one that I have read. And this book also has a lot of these moments where you just want to know what will happen next, so I think they should really try to read this book.

I would recommend this book to people who actually don't enjoy reading at all, because before reading this book, I was also like these people who don't like reading, but after reading this book, I didn't even realize how fast I actually finished it. This book is just full of interesting, exciting moments, where you just want to keep on reading until you know what will happen. 

I would also recommend this book to people, who always judge books by their covers, because the cover from this book actually looks really boring, but once you start reading this book, it is the total opposite.

I would recommend this book for a number of reasons:

1. It gives an insight into a very complex human nature, motives and actions.
2. It emphasizes the moral dilemma, whether the murder of the murderer can bring justice when the justice system fails. Does the aim justify the means? This is the moral dilemma not only of the main character, detective Poirot, but also of all the people involved in the murder of the train.

Murder on the Orient Express is an exciting story filled with plot twists and suspense. I would recommend this book to people of all ages that enjoy mystery books and who are interested in human nature. In fact, the main detective is known for his ability to analyze the human nature. He can find solutions to most difficult cases just by studying the people, their actions and by making deductions.

The passengers on the coach, 12 of them, are united in their attempt to carry out justice and kill a person who caused death of so many innocent people. The serene snow-covered nature is contrasted with the action, mental and physical, taking place in the train.  

The characters are not what they seem to be.  What we see at the beginning of the story is a group of people from different countries with different socio-economic background, travelling for pleasure. They do not seem to know each other.  As the story develops and the murder takes place, Poirot manages to identify their true characters and motives. All of these 12 people suffered greatly as a result of the murdered person’s actions. Their pain is even greater since the murderer was acquitted by the corrupt judge. The desire for revenge and justice united these people.  The only way to carry out justice was to kill the culprit, so they took justice in their own hands.

The plot surprises Poirot, as this is not a common case involving the bad and the good. The murdered person is not the real victim. The murderers are not the villains in this case, but a group of desperate people seeking justice. 

Being religious and caring for every human life, this is a difficult choice for him.  For the first time ever, Poirot does not give in the murderers to the police. He lies to the police and decides to stand by the murderers. The real victims were betrayed by the justice system and Poirot knows that the means taken by the group of 12 passengers on board the train, was the only way to punish the murderer for its crimes.

I would recommend this to my peers because I know that a lot of them enjoy this kind of suspense. I know many books that are similar to this one that they have read and they said that they enjoyed it. Also I know that none of them have even read it let alone heard of it.

I recommend this book to people who don't mind reading and love to read because there are many parts that are just plain boring. There are a lot of parts that are exiting or scary but this book doesn't get to the point very quickly. It includes many boring paragraphs describing things that aren't really important to the actual plot.  would say this is for people who are 10 and above because it is quite scary and complex. Also it is hard to understand because there are so many things going on at one time. So I would say it's for older kids. For example at one point it was scary because Johnis and his army went to fight the Horde to get his mom back and the author uses very descriptive words that are hard to understand for non English speakers and younger kids. Also it was so well described that it was really scary.

This book is very unpredictable because at one point this is happening then two pages later something else happens and it's very hard to understand sometimes. For example when the Roush go to town to meet Johnis to give him the silver ring that the Horde left him as a clue. Then in the next chapter he is at the Roush's tree's talking to Marchl and leaving to find an army.

I didn't read all this Is my first book that I am reading and that book Is the first one from the series this book Is full of surprises you don't expect that something s going to happen, and here are a lot of creepy scenes that make It exciting. There was a letter from the ghost witch was an especially Interesting because the tower was locked because Juliet's dad had a sister and she jumped from that tower but no one knows why then suddenly the ghosts starts talking to them over letters without Juliet's dad knowing.

Recommendation: I would recommend to those who likes unpredictable books. In this book I could not predict what happen as the story goes on. For me I really like that because then you would not know what is coming up. I would also recommend to other which have the same series book as I have so they can see how different character personality or maybe the sittings.
