This book is the second of the Eragon trilogy. In this book, eragon and sapphire leave to go to the elfs' hidden city so that he can continue his training. He will also go look for his best friend Murtagh, whom was kidnaped by the king's servants at the beginning of the book. Will he succeed to save his friend? Will he finally succeed to beat the king and his servants?
