This is a Serbian book about a professor called Kosta Vujic. He teaches German, in Serbian schools you don't get always the choice of language. He teaches twelfth grade and the students love him. Every time he comes into the classroom he can expect the unexpected all the time. Although the children make pranks for him, he is their favorite teacher.

Kosta Vujic is an old teacher, a great man and perfectionist. He moves a lot, and since in those times there were toilets that were dug into the ground, he was always picky about the toilet and would pick a house with a great toilet. He, although, is a bit bigger person and always eats. In his toilet lies a shelf for him to put his fruits, and a little window to spit the seeds out. Every time before and after his teachings, he goes to many restaurants and in one he drinks, in one he eats, in one he has dessert. he loves his students, but they always try to make him look stupid.

Whenever the childrean do something wrong, for the teacher not to be mad at them, the students wrote a song for professor Kosta Vujic that he cannot be mad about after. They change a Serbian hero's picture for his picture on the wall and have one more song that they sing when they have to do a verbal test. This song is about the bell already ringing, so that they get out of school earlier.

There is a student who is in love with the minister's daughter and is always late for school just to see her. Before, girls and boys didn't go together to school, they were separated. One night, Milorad Mitrovic and Mika Petrovic decide to sing a song under Mirjana Marinkovic's window. One will sing and one will play the violin. during the song the girl throws a flower as a sing that she loved the song, but her mother, Mrs. Marinkovic, sees them and tomorrow reports them to the principle of their school. she described their actions a horrible, disturbing, and many more. Although, professor Kosta Vujic is there to help. When the principle called the professor in, Kosta Vujic described to him that if they continue treating the students bad, they will only be remembered as their professors, nothing else. That changed the principle's mind and he didn't punish the children, but, will they graduate?
