The book that I am reading is called Cults. It is written by Karen Zeinert. I have only read the first chapter. This chapter was one of the longest and effective hooks I have read.
The first chapter was about a bombing in Waco. This chapter was called "Making Headlines". There was a cult in Waco. The cult's leader was Koresh and he believed that the end of the world will be indicated by a fight between good and the evil as stated in the bible. To prepare for the battle he stared storing weapons and other illegal weapons. The ATF or the united states of alcohol, tobacco and fire arms. The agents had enough information to arrest the Koresh but his followers didn't let them do so. When things got out of hand the ATF contacted the FBI for help. The FBI tried their best to do everything they could to make the Dravidians surrender. However the quest to surrender turned to a violent bombing. Most of the followers and Koresh died in the bombing but now many people blame this bombing on the FBI especially the followers of the Davidian cult. During these bombing Koresh believed that this is the fight between the good and evil forces, but who knew that it wasn't the end of the world but only the end of most of the cult's followers. My question to you is who do you think is correct, the one who stored illegal weapons or the law?
The two words I didn't understand were:
stockpile: A supply of materials.
Before the apocalypse you should stockpile food and firearms maybe even painkillers.
grim: Sad or tragic
The play was very grim.

I like that you made a paragraph for the book and then one for the summary. That was smart thinking on your part.
