Watership Down

This book is a real fantasy, because you finally you get to think, act and live like a rabbit! This book is really interesting because of the way the rabbits seem to think. They think differently too, we know that and they have their own language, which may be hard to believe. The cigarettes of men are choking white sticks, tractors were known as hlulus. You got to know what it felt like inside the burrows, what it was like being knocked down by a dog or a cat. Cats to us are sweet danger less animals while to rabbits they are their enemies. You could also see the difference between a farm rabbit and a wild rabbit.

Fiver, was a small rabbit who had terrible visions. He lived in a burrow with many other brothers and sisters and he was the youngest. Of course who would believe his fears? He was small and helpless and rabbits thought him absurd just as we humans think that the youngest once are absurd. But there are also the smart once, like Hazel who do listen. Hazel believed that his brother had fears that he had. He knew there was a reason. But Fiver never knew it. He just knew that it was dangerous and that it would affect all the rabbits in the warren unless they decided to move out. So Hazel, Fiver and some other rabbits they managed to convince to leave, left. Bigwig was one of the rabbits. He was smart and he used to serve the Chief of the rabbits. The chief of the rabbits didn't listen to the warnings (he was always so sure of himself) and Bigwig left hurriedly, avoiding being arrested (even rabbits have chiefs, police and even slaves). He had believed Fiver his story. Now they needed to find a right place to survive in a burrow with a lot of food. The wild rabbits who had never left their warrens,were unused to the surroundings around them. If it weren't for Bigwig, they wouldn't know anything about the safety of the roads or other animals and smells they didn't know about. Fiver was determined to go to the mountains far away from people. He knew there they would be safe. Now I don't want to spoil your pleasure in reading this review so I won\t go into details explaining their adventures. Now I read the book but if you want to answer these following questions you'll have to read:

Did Fiver manage to get to the mountains to safety?

Will all the rabbits manage to survive the long journey?

Will they be satisfied and settled after they reach the mountains?
