Black Beauty

I read 20 pages out of 262 pages. This week I am reading a book called "Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell which is a real life story. As far as I know it is about a young horse called blacky that lives with his owner Squire Gordon and his mother Duchess. One day the owner thinks that he is old enough to start putting him the saddle, a bridle, a collar, a crupper, a breaching, a halter, a headstall, a bit and the iron shoes. At first Blacky felt very weird and a bit painful but afterwards he got used to it. Later on Blacky gets moved into another owner, the owner decides to call him Black beauty because he looks really great and he is black. In the new place he meets a horse called ginger. Ginger tells black beauty about his life and all he has been trough, Black beauty feels really sad for Ginger because Ginger has told him a lot of painful and struggling adventures. Un unknown word that I have not understood is the world Tempers. It means To cause something such as steel or glass to become hard or strong by heating it and cooling it.I found this world on page 57 paragraph 2.
