This week I read part of the book, "Let's England" By Colin Joyce. This week I read 78 pages of the book. The main Idea, and concept of this book is very interesting. It is to describe, and talk about things in a biased perspective. Specifically an Englishman's perspective on multiple different subjects like the weather, or housing. But when Colin Joyce is talking about these matters, he adds a very humorous perspective. For example, when he was talking about an Englishman's dinner, he talked about what to do if the next person around the table didn't pass the port. Apparently you are meant to say "Have you met the Bishop of Norwich?" apparently this is code for pass the port, but what made it very funny was when he added the next part, which was, "What happens if they don't get the hint?". Well then apparently one must say, Wonderful fellow, but he always forgets to pass the port. This week the one word that I didn't know was "Port". Apparently port is a class of very sweet wines.
