In the Valley of the Kings, Howard Carter and the mystery of King Tutankhamen's Tomb #3

Tittle: In the Valley of the kings, Howard Carter and the mystery of King Tutankhamen's tomb.
Author: Daniel Mayerson
Pages Read: 52/230 (with index and acknowledgments)

The conflict in my book consists of different parts, since there are 6 parts in the book (some very short), there's a different conflict in each of them. So, far I've read till the ending of part 2. In this section of the book, the conflict is external. Man vs. Society, because as Carter gains popularity in Egyptology, people "rise" against him, because they think he is an outsider. So far, its talked about the failures of Carter and how he is made fun of by others in his misfortune.

The conflict in part 1 of the book, is man vs. nature. In this section we are introduced to Howard Carter, and it mostly talks about how the archaeologists are trying to survive without food, water, shelter, and from the heat.

In both the stories the conflict is introduced pretty soon, right after the general explanation of what time the authors talking about and what Carter does that year, later on it explains in detail.

I think that in the future Carter will discover King Tutankhamen's tomb, though something will happen and it wont be only good but will also cause trouble, liken for example someone will try to say that THEY discovered it.
