For some time now I have been reading the Divergent series, by Veronica Roth, recently I have moved on to Insurgent, the second novel in the series, from Divergent, the first book. This novel contains a total 525 mesmerizing pages, which I have read 70 of.
I believe that the main idea behind this book was for Veronica Roth to express what her utopian society would look like and how, if that did in fact happen, would it fall apart.
After the Dauntless leaders team up with Erudite to take down Abnegation, both the Abnegation and Dauntless faction fall apart. Forcing Tris and Four to seek refuge in Amity, there they are rather uncomfortable there due to the many differences between the Dauntless and Amity. After seeking shelter in Amity, forlonger than expected, they fall into a disagreement with Johanna, Amity’s unofficial leader, and decide to leave. But where? That would be something that I am going to find out, in these next few chapters of this novel.
