This
week I have started reading The Diary of a Young Girl, which is a
non-fiction novel written by Anne Frank herself, edited by her father, Otto
Frank, and then later translated to the English language. I have read
only the first 50 pages of the total 274 in this novel.
The
main point behind Anne’s diary was for her to have someone, or let’s say
something, to be able to confide to. It speaks of her experiences from the age
thirteen, when she began to write her diary, to fifteen, when she was obligated
to stop. The first entry in this diary, which she so often would call Kitty,
was dated June 12, 1942 while the last entry in was dated August 1, 1944.
Anne’s
sister, Margot, receiving a call up notification, to report to Westbrook Transit
Camp, would be a main event because it is the ultimate cause of the Frank
families move from their regular home into the annex; they hid in for the time
being.
I really liked this blogpost. you have read the same book as me and when i compare the two posts, i see that you have put a bit more thought and explanations into this. Good Job!
