Hi guys,
Yesterday I started to read this book called "The Death Cure" it is the third book in the maze runner series, I have so far read 104 pages out of 325. Here is a picture of the cover of my copy of the "The Death Cure":
The book is set in the future. It is about genius kids who have to go through trials that the supper advanced lab created called WICKED and WICKED took the kids memories, all they can remember is their first names. Also they put something in their brains so that they can can control them. The point is that WICKED is recording the kids reactions and their thinking process so that they can supposedly find a cure for what is called the flare. That is a disease that eats parts of the brain and makes a person a blood thirsty insane human and you can catch it really easily that is how in the book more than half the world has it. So the remaining governments came together and thought of a way to find a cure for the flare so they created WICKED.
So far in the book the main character Thomas and his friends Minho, Brenda, Newt and Jorge are trying to follow the rest of their friends in escaping the lab compound. Into Denver where there has a doctor that used to work in WICKED who still knows how to take out the chip that controls them.
I think that the theme of the book is you should let people make their own decision.
Hope I did not give away the book too much,
AG
I haven't read the Maze Runner series yet, but I kind of need to. Do you think I will enjoy it?
