The new book I am reading is called Vanishing girl, by Shane Peacock, it is a mystery about a younger Sherlock Holmes, and how he is trying to solve the kidnapping, of this girl.
Mrs. Hancock asked us to read 30 pages a week, and after e read the 30 pages we need to make a blog post, about the pages we have read and try to resume into a little blog post what is going on with the book, this book it is also going to be the book for my book report.
Sherlock Holmes is a young detective who just needs the adrenaline to solve a case, and when he hears about the Vanishing Girl he realizes that’s the case he wants to solve, but Victoria Ranthbone has already gone missing for many months, and there is no clue of where the kidnappers have hide her.
After long moths of waiting the kidnappers send a letter asking for a quarter million pounds in exchange of the daughter’s freedom, everything could go just fine if it wasn’t that the father of Victoria refuses to pay. Victoria’s father Mr. Hobbs is a well known judge, and know that his daughter has being kidnapped he is refusing to pay because he thinks it would mean to be in the kidnappers control.
The police is now obligated to find the girl before the kidnappers kill her in 3 days like they promise, one huge problem there are no clues at all to find the poor girl.
Now Sherlock Holmes has to find clues to be able to save this girl, is he going o be able to solve this mystery n 2 days, with no contacts, and no clues????
