     The book that I am currently reading is called A Night to Remember by Walter Lord. John Walter Lord Jr. was born on October 8^th 1917 in Baltimore,Maryland and died on May 19th 2002 in Manhattan, New York. Mr. Lord was and American author, best known for the book A Night to Remember a documentary of the RMS Titanic. After publishing the Night to Remember the book was made into a popular 1958 British Movie. When writing A Night to Remember, Lord took his time to track 63 Titanic survivors to gather their stories. Another very famous book that Walter Lord authored was also about the Titanic titled The Night Lives On, published in 1986.  In Walter Lords later years he became very famous for his knowledge of the” Titanic catastrophe”. Even at times he would hold lectures at meetings for the Titanic Historical Society.  In 1977 during the filming of the Titanic, Lord was James Camerons (director of the Titanic) “consultant”. He gave him expert advice and information from the survivors on what happened on the night of the sinking. After the original Titanic movie there was a sequel called Ghost of the Abyss which was dedicated to Walter Lords memory.
