 Author I am writing about: Wendy Mass

       I am about to introduce you to one of my favorite authors! Her name is Wendy Mass, Wendy Mass was born on January 17, 1967. She lived in New Jersey in a town called Livingston. Wendy Mass graduated from Tufts University.While she was in school her favorite subjects were reading and writing. This probably inspired her to be a writer! Wendy Mass is a  New York Times best selling author of twelve novels for 10 - 15 year olds. They have been translated into 14 languages and nominated for 54 state book awards!  One of her best books and best selling, are A Mango-Shaped Space, Leap Day, the Twice Upon a Time fairy tale series, Every Soul a Star, 11 Birthdays, Heaven Looks a Lot Like the Mall, Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, and Finally. Her most recent books are The Candymakers and 13 Gifts. My personal favorite is The Candymakers. It is my favorite book because it tells the story in multiple points of view! Wendy Mass is a great author and I suggest that you read any of these books! I also really like the series 11 Birthdays, Finally, and 13 Gifts! They are all about the same story and each book is more hilarious then the other! I also really like the book a A Mango Shaped Space because I learned a lot about this gift that is real that I didn't know before! First of all I thought it was made up but I researched it and its true! That is why I really like the books she writes because they are fun but educational! Who new that on January 17, 1967 a great author was born!
