The book I am reading is Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins it is the second book in the Hunger Games Trilogy. I think everyone has seen the first movie of the hunger games and you guys know how it ends, with Peeta and Katniss both winning the hunger games. The second book starts with Katniss and her family after she has won the games. Her family is very rich and happy until president snow(the boss of the hunger games) knocks on katniss's door and tells her the other districts are very disapointed with what happened and want to form a rebellion against the capitol because there should have been only one victor but there were two, her and Peeta. So now the capitol wants revenge on Peeta and Katniss. He tells her that if she doesn't stop the rebellion it will become a huge war.
The unknown word that i chose is Uprisings (page 24)
There have been uprisings? Uprising means rebellion.
