I think the story happens in the future/past because some of it happens a long tome a go before her parents died but I am not sure. In the chapter eleven Kira goes to the forests walking slowly with her bad twisted leg. There is nobody with her so when she gets there, Annabella stands outside in the garden. Both of them go inside the house and sitting by the fire Kira has to name the threads. Kira goes back to the quarters and she and a boy called Thomas are eating together and they start talking about beast's. Kira goes back to her room and she does some kind of working stuff.After she has taken a bath Kira is thinking about it.
