Title: Hunger Games, Author: Suzanne Collins, Page number: 61.
The protagonist in this book is the main character, Katniss. In the book they don't really describe her physical features mostly her personality traits. Some of her personality traits are bravery, responsibility and thoughtfulness. She shows bravery in the book when stepping up and taking her fathers place in hunting, gathering food and trading so that her family wouldn't die of hunger. Katniss is also very responsible because she always makes sure that there is enough food for her whole family and that they have everything that they need to survive. She was very thoughtful of her mother and her smaller sister when she took her sisters place when she was picked to enter the hunger games. She didn't want her sister, which was just 12 enter the hunger games because she knew that she would not be able to survive because she was too young. The antagonist in this book is the person which is picking out the names of who will enter the hunger games and fight for their life. I believe that she is the antagonist in the story because she is the one that chooses who will fitght for their lives during the hunger games. She is cold hearted since she does not mind a 12 year old fighting for her life in the woods. Besides her there is not a person that you can clearly say that they are the antagonist except maybe all of the people that Katniss is playing against.
I like your book and your blog post: you explained very well. But I think that the lady picking the names isn't really the antagonist, because she is just the picker, she doesn't really have any power. I think the whole capitol is the antagonist, not even the tributes.
