The Hunger Games

Title: The Hunger Games, Author: Susan Collins, Number of pages read: 90/374

The main conflict in the book right now is that Katniss believes that Pete and his father were kind to her and her family because they believe that Pete will defeat Katniss. Pete father had come to her before they went on the train and said that he will take care of her family and that he will help them in anything that they need. She had understood that they think (Pete and his father) that she wont survive the hunger games but will be defeated. I believe that this conflict will be resolved only at the end of the Hunger Games when they find out the winner because only then she will be sure if he was the one that she should have worried about and was he correct. If not like that then i think that it would be resolved  by Katniss defeating Pete and everyone else in the book and will go home and be able to take care of her family without any troubles.
