Protagonist and Antagonist, The House of The Scorpion

In the novel "The House of  The Scorpion" Matt is the protagonist. Matt is a clone, his birth name is Matteo Alacran. Matt is the clone of a drug lord know as El Patron.No one likes Matt due to the fact that he is a clone and clones are looked down upon. The only person who is nice to Matt and loves him is Celia his "Mother" though she is not his mother. Besides Celia, El Patron loves Matt. Matts body guard is named Tam Lin who is a British man strong and uneducated. Tam Lin is Matts role model who makes jokes and takes Matt on adventures. Last is Maria she is Matts best friend and you could say girlfriend, Maria likes Matt unlike no one else in her family. The antagonists are the people who despise Matt. For example Tom who is cruel and does things to make Maria mad at Matt. Then there is Felisia who is Mr.Alacrans wife and the mother of Tom. Felisia had an affair with a friend of El Patron. Felisia is not aloud to leave because she imprisoned inside the big house. Last are the maids and servants who despise Matt and consider him as an animal. Matt is disliked because clones are not considered humen and people think they are Satans minions. Due to him being born from a cow people thing he has no soul and think he is worth nothing.
