The book "The Chaos" by Rachel Ward has 2 main protagonists, Adam and Sarah. Adam is trying to stop the horrible event that is going to occur on January 2027, he wants to find out what he can do to change the numbers he sees in other people's eyes. He has been gifted to see other people's death dates when he looks them in the eyes. But it gets really hard for him to keep his gift a secret, because other people wonder why he keeps staring at them and why he has this notebook where he always takes Notes during the day. Other people get really curious being around him. In that notebook, Adam notes the dates he sees when he meets new people, and he started figuring if he could possibly change their numbers, because many people have the same date which is January 2027 and Adam can see that there is going to be many painful deaths. 

Sarah is the second main protagonist in the book, and she is frightened of Adam. Almost every night she has a nightmare seeing Adam taking away her baby, and she always tries to avoid Adam when he is around her. She also hates her family and because she was pregnant, she ran away from her home in London and fled to a different place far away to protect her baby. There she found a place to stay and also gave birth to her child. 

I still haven't found out who the antagonist is, but I think it will be the future because there is going to be a huge fire which will kill more than half of the people in London, and Adam is trying to somehow warn the people without them discovering his gift.
