Now Bess has been sent to the school for the blind children which is the Perkins School for the blind. She meats many friends their, although her best friends are her roommates, which are Amanda and Eva. She meats as well many new teachers like Mrs. Slinger who is Bess's best teacher. While shaking hands with Mrs. Slinger, Bess touched all fingers of Mrs. Slinger, except for one which was the pinky finger. She asked Mrs. Slinger why does she not have a pinky finger and Mrs. Slinger answered that she one time in her life was very sick and that she felt in a coma, Her family did not know was she alive or did she die. So , what they did was cut her pinky finger to see will she awake from the pain or she wont, and Mrs. Slinger awoke from the coma, and started being less sick. Bess is very exited because her uncle Ted and her sister Elin are coming to visit her where Bess will show them the whole school.
