Only You can Save Mankind

I'm writing a blogpost on this story because I still haven't finished Uncle Tom's cabin. This is one of Terry Pratchett's stories. His stories are usually funny, and related to monsters that he invented himself, for example in this book there is a sort of reptile with 6 legs, and the monster comes from a game that the boy, who is the main character is playing. What happens is that, like every bot, this boy likes to play fighting games against monsters that are actually in the video game. But one day the monsters started talking to him, and telling him that they surrender. This was impossible since the monsters were usually supposed to fight and not surrender, but then they started talking to him. They wanted him to take them to their home. The reason was that these creatures were actually alive, and once they died they were dead forever. For the humans they could always restart. They needed the boy to bring them back to their home country and end the game, so there would be no more kidding. Even though the story does have a serious problem, they are pretty funny.
