The Book I read this afternoon was '' Chasing Vermeer''. I read 31 pages this week. The author of the book Chasing Vermeer is Blue Balliett. The book is very interesting because they don't know how to react to the fact that they got a letter from an unknown person.  One of the main characters is Ms Hussey. She is the 6th grade teacher at University School and is unsure of things. Ms. Hussey has long hair and lots of earrings and she has worn pajamas to school.   The other main character is Petra Andalee. She has curly hair, thick glasses, and small and quick hands, 6th grader.  

Petra Andalee Appearance:
'' She had curly hair, thick glasses, and small and quick hands.''
'' They were all 6th graders now at the University School, and all twelve year olds.

Chapter 2 Page 6:
Ms Hussey Unsure:
'' By the sixth week of sixth grade, Ms. Hussey still wasn't a disappointment. She had announced on the first day of school that she had no idea what they were going to work on that year, or how.''

Ms Hussey University School:
'' Ms. Hussey's classroom was in the middle school building at the University School, in the neighborhood known as Hyde Park.

Ms Hussey Appearance:
'' Their teacher was a new and young, and her name was Ms. Isabel Hussey. She had long hair and lots of earrings and she had worn pajamas.
