The setting in this book is in imaginary places. The book starts in Linderwall which is a large kingdom from which Cimorene came. The second one are the mountains of mourning which is the nesting place of dragons. Each dragon has his own cave. Cimorene volunteered to a dragon called Kazul. This dragon has a very big web of caves which have a big entrance, as Kazul is a female dragon. Female dragons are bigger than males so that the kids have more space. In the vicinity there is an enchanted forest where a witch lives, in this forest there are big trees almost all identical to each other.
I find your book really interesting! You could have put in the conflict, but even though I don't like books which are fiction, this one I found really interesting.
