Hey Everyone!
So in this blog post we were required to write about what the conflict in out story was, when the conflict was introduced and what type of conflict it was. So the story I am reading is called "Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism" the author of this book is Georgia Byng. The number of pages the book has is 371, and the picture of the book is above :) So here are the answer to the questions:

 1. What is the conflict of the book?

Basically the book is about how one girl, after having a hard life, goes to a library and finds a book that has to do with hypnotism, and this is where the conflict begins. Another man, preferably a professor, comes to the library and asks for the book, the librarian has no clue where the book is, or where it could be found. When the professor finds out that a little female orphan has taken the book that can lead him to the "big bucks" (a lot of money) anger starts forming and he will do anything possible to the get the book back where it belongs, with him.

2. When was the conflict introduced?

The conflict was introduced at the beginning of the book, around the 6th page when the professor saw Molly leaving the library with the book in her hands, and then later the conflict started increasing as the two main characters met each other for the first time and when Molly started running for the professor because she knew she was in trouble.

What type of conflict is this?

This type of conflict is called external, and the meaning of external conflict is not having the conflict within you, for example thinking about if you should tell the teacher someone cheated on a test which is internal conflict. External is basically when you have direct physical conflict, when it is with another person and when both people are aware of that. The MAJOR conflict in the book is internal, but through different chapters, Molly and Nockman face internal conflicts aswell. One example of the minor conflict Molly was having was if she should board the plane and fly to New York.

How was the conflict resolved?

The conflict was not really resolved, Molly managed to get the book back after the professor had managed to take it away from her, but the book has a sequel, which makes the ending kind of exciting. Basically, the conflict is resolved at the end because the book is safely in Molly's hands, but it ends with Professor Nockman talking about how he will return and take what was his in the first place, scary right?

Alright everyone, thanks for reading my blog post and I hope you enjoyed! :)
