Summary:

I am currently reading a non-fictional, historical book "Sea Dog Bamse World War Two Canine Hero" (190 pages). Bamse is a pet dog of a family from North Norway. When World War II started, the man of the family joined the navy along with Bamse and they protected the Norwegian coast on a fishing vessel called Thorodd, which, instead of a harpoon for hunting whales, had a 20 mm Oerlikon anti-aircraft cannon and a crew consisting of fishermen. Bamse was not afraid of bullets and he always stayed on deck during an encounter with the enemy. By doing this, he motivated the crew to fight on and destroy the enemy. Thorodd was one of the 13 ships to go to Greenock with the Norwegian king when the British saved him from the Germans. "It all reinforced the perception that Bamse was no ordinary dog" (qtd. page 29)

  1. Good Job! I liked the order you put the writing in and how you explained everything.
