I am reading "Dealing with Dragons" which is about princess. Cimorene is one of the seven princesses of the kingdom of Linderwall. She is the youngest of them, but she is not like the rest of them. She is refusing to learn the princess things like embroidering, dancing, etiquette. She has jet black hair she wears in braids, not like the others. She is also very tall, this is why her parents are afraid she would not find a husband. Therefore her parents take her to another kingdom where they want her to get married. She is stubborn as a pig, one might say strong minded. She rebuts to her parents, and when her parents assign her a husband she refuses him. She only wants to learn the things that amuse her.
