Talking about the Book One Direction

Abby Mckenzie
Tittle: The One Direction Story
Date: 11/30/2012
Author: Danny White
Number of pages: 241

The boys from One Direction  are Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson. This week I read about Niall, Harry and Zayn. Something that I found out is that these three have divorced parents. That effected their childhood because it made them fell sad because they didn't want there parents to split up. When they were kids they all LOVED to sing because they had a lot of stress. Something that I also read about, is that they all went to the x-factor show.

I recommend this book to people who love dogs.

The Outsiders By S. E. Hinton and Benazir Bhutto-Nikita

Number of Pages Read: Done with the book!

Benazir Bhutto and The Outsiders

This week, I am reading The Outsiders and I am done with the book Benazir Bhutto. I am really sad I could not get meet Bhutto because she seems like a nice lady. The most important part was probably the beginning because that's where she begins to say more about herself and her thoughts and feelings. I would recommend this to everyone because this book is very interesting and adds on to your knowledge. I would recommend The Outsiders to teens because there are words that little kids such as 3rd to 4th graders might not know. I haven't read the second chapter yet, but I really want to know what happens next in the story!

Michael Moore
Here Comes Trouble
427pg

This week I'm reading Michael Moore's autobiography. My favorite part was when he had his first date. His first date was in 11th grade, a girl asked him out, she was older than him, he took her to a childrens movie (Charlie and the chocolate factory). Those were the wrong things that happened, the good things are: she is a cheerleader, she really liked him and he had a car to take her to the movies with.  I recommend this book to everyone that likes comedy.

Maus blog post 2/5

Art Spegelman
Maus
296 Pages

There are both internal and external conflicts in the graphic novel Maus
The internal conflict is that Artie can’t make any sense out of his relationship with his father.  He was closer to his mother but he always felt at odds with his father.  Everything he did his father thought he could do it better (page 99).   In fact, Artie became an artist because his dad wasn't interested in art and so Artie felt he wouldn't have to compete with him.    This conflict was never resolved because Vladek dies before they ever really understand each other.  However, even though they had this conflict Vladek and Artie loved each other dearly.  Vladek saved all his money for Artie to inherit when he died and when Vladek lied and said he was having a heart attack Artie ran to his side to be with him.
The external conflict in the book is the situation with the Nazis before and during World War II.  This conflict was introduced in the beginning of the book when the Polish people went to war against Germany. In the prisoner of war camps the Jews got more work to do than the other P.O.W.s.  When the P.O.W.s.  went home the Jewish people had to register and wear stars.  They were given curfews, their factories were taken over by Germans and their belongings were seized.  Eventually the the Jews have to relocate to a ghetto which the Nazis empty of Jews to send to the gas chambers and furnaces.  Because they are killing the Jews and the Jews must hide to be safe from extermination.

Art Spiegelman
Maus
296 pages

Note:  The book I am reading is a graphic novel about a Polish Jew’s perspective of the Holocaust of World War II.  In this book all the characters are depicted as animals:  the Jews are mice, the Germans are cats, the Poles are pigs, the Americans are dogs etc. It is therefore sometimes difficult to ascertain the physical features of the main characters.
Vladek Spiegelman
Vladek Spiegleman is the main character of this book.  He was a handsome Jewish businessman who looked like Rudolph Valentino when he was young.  Vladek was a very handy man; he made hidden bunkers that he used to hide up to twenty Jews when the Nazis were eliminating the Jews from the ghettos. (page 112, 114) He was good at fixing things and was a quick study.  For example, in Auschwitz he learned to mend shoes and work with tin like a craftsman even though he’d had no experience whatsoever (page 220).  He was very resourceful and took advantage of opportunities no one else saw.  When a Polish kapo in Auschwitz asked if anyone knew German and English Vladek said yes and got a job as a tutor.  Consequently, he got a feast each time he gave a lesson and also got better fitting clothes for himself and his friend (page 192).   Vladek was very close to his wife; and even managed to take care of her in Auschwitz- sending her food and arranging better living quarters for her.  He was a neat and tidy man who put everything in its spot.  (page 95) He didn’t like people to touch or move his things: “It’s so claustrophobic being around Vladek,” his daughter-in-law said.  “He straightens everything you touch.  He’s so anxious”.  Vladek was a thrifty man before the war but after the war he became a miser, a hoarder who wouldn’t waste anything:  he kept old restaurant menus and picked up pieces of telephone wire from the street (page 118).  Vladek is also manipulative because when he wanted to see his son he lied to him and said that he had had a heart attack when he hadn’t – he just wanted to see his son (page 173).  Although he was a kind, loving husband to Anja, his first wife, he was critical and disrespectful to Mala, his second wife (page 132).
Art (Artie) Spiegelman
Art is the author of this graphic novel.  He is the son of Vladek and Anja, two Holocaust survivors. He wants to write a book about his dad’s story and “tell it the way it really happened.”  As a young man he spent time at a psychiatric hospital (page 102)  As an adult he suffers from depression because his mother committed suicide and because he feels guilty he did not live through the Holocaust (page 176, page 202).  He is a good person who feels things deeply.
Anja Zylberberg:
Anja was a friend of Vladek’s cousin and she became Vladek’s wife.  She was born to a rich family.  She was a slim, shy and sensitive woman (page 32).  Even though Anja wasn’t that pretty she was kind, smart, and had a certain charm to her.  When Vladek first met Anja she was taking pills for nerves. (page 21) She suffered from postpartum depression (page 33) when their first child was born and later in life she committed suicide (page 102).

The Outsiders
# of pages: 180

Right now, I am reading about the lives of three outsiders that enter the world of war, hateness, crulty and adventure. Pony boy the main outsider runs away from his home and of to his new adventure. The most interesting part to me was when the home living tenagers were drowning Pony boy but his friend Johnny saved him by stabbing one in the back and the rest ran away. I would recommend this book to people that like adventure because this book has many settings on where Pony boy gets to.

:)

Hello Everyone,

Title: Breaking Dawn
Author: Stephanie Meyer.
 Number of pages: 498

The book that I decided to read this week aside from the outsiders is Twillight, Breaking Dawn. This as you may know, is the last book of Twilight and the reason I am reading it is because the movie just came out, and I want to read the book (because they say its better) and then watch the movie. Anyway, in the first two chapters of the book, it is basically a continuum of the previous chapter in the previous book. The event happening on the beggining is how the Cullen's get to see Bella alive again, but this time a vampire. On the beggning the story tells us of how Bella was struggling in her new life as a vampire, but she caught on soon enough. The main problem that occurs in the story is when Irina (Edwards cousin) desides to report Bella's and Edward's child, as an immortal. This of course, leads to a fight, but when Alice returns, and shows the Voulty what they're future looks like If you fight, they agree to let the child live in peace, and go back home. Some of the really interesting things about this book, is that you never guess what can happen.First, Bella's a human, and she's still in high school, but then you flip the page, she's married.

I really enjoyed the part, when I discovered by Edward (who is able to read anyones thoughts) wasnt able to read Bella's, even at the begginign when they first met. Turns out, Bella has the power of the shield, and not only is she the strongest in the family, and of practically all the vampires, she is able to protect herself, and someone else. Wheather its Edaward, Renesseme, or someone from the family. Renessme, the child, which has been accused to be an immortal child, becomes in a whole lot of danger indeed. No one belives that she has blood in her veins, because she was born while Bella was still a human. Therefore, they all travel around the world to look for witnesses to stop the Voltury from killing them, and their whole family.

This book has been the best one I have read the whole year. It was very descriptive, it had powerful words, and best of all, I finally got to meet Bella's and Edwards child, and I have been waiting to get to visualize to what she looked like from the beginning of when I started reading these books. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good and fascinating novel, but also to people who like a book with a lot of action to it. I would rate this story a 10/10, and as I said in the previous sentence, I would recommended to everyone

The Code Book
Simon Singh

This week I am reading a book on cryptography. Currently, I am learning about how computers can make unbreakable codes, codes that anyone, and that means anyone, can use. For instance, if you wanted to encrypt a very special email to a very special someone, all you would have to do is download this software called PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) and it would do it all for you. For me, the most interesting part would have to be- Are you ready for this? It's really exciting- quantum theory. The concept that something can divide into a million somethings and then merge back into itself, or that an object can dive into a million universes and do a different thing in each one, fascinates me. I wouldn't recommend this book to people who's heads hurt in math and science class, but to people who want to learn way above their own level, and are capable of doing so. There were a lot of points in the book where I had to read over again a couple of times, and sometimes I didn't even understand it then. Despite that, it's a really interesting book, and I learned so much reading it.

The Outsiders-Chapter one

Title: The Outsiders
Author: S.E. Hinton
Number Of Pages: 180

I hope that everybody already started this book so I am going to explain the fist paragraph.
The book is about a boy named Ponyboy and his brothers - Darry (Darrel) and Sodapop. Ponyboy is fourteen years old.  He has long hair and greenish gray eyes. Hi love movies, books, and art makes him feel different from the other guys he knows, including his own brothers. Ponyboy's parents died in car incident.
The book also tell us for two groups. One of them is named Greasers and the other is SOCs (Social). Ponyboy is member in Greasers with other six boys: Johnny, Dally, Darry, Sodapop, Steve, and Two-Bit. The childrens in this group are poor (less than the middle class).  The other group is group with rich childrens. The group SOCs battling the other group.
At the beginning of the story Ponyboy get out of the theater but the problem is that he is alone. On the way to his band he met with SOCs. They catch them and say that they will cut his hair. Then Ponyboy started shouting and luckily for him, his friends found him. Pony said that he is O.K. although he was wounded.
When Pony goes to bed, lying next to Sodapop, he told Pony that he is planning on asking Sandy (his girlfriend) to be his wife. However, he didn't want Darry to know yet. Ponyboy asked him to wait until he moves out. He didn't want to be alone with Darry but Sodapop reminded Pony that Darry loves him so much. But Pony isn't so sure. He didn't feel like Darry loves him.
I will recommend this book to teenagers, however I don't know what will happen, so I can't tell much. But I think it's also good for children because the book can learn you about what is good and what - not. Actually you can take a lesson from characters and see what will happen if you didn't take a lesson.

The Outsiders and Benazir Bhutto-Nikita

This week, I was reading a part of Benazir Bhutto and the first chapter of The Outsiders. I am reading, in Benazir Bhutto, how his brother had died. I am almost finished with the book. The most interesting part for me is in the beginning of the book, of how his father was assassinated. I don't think this was in the book, but I would really like to know how she, herself, got assassinated. I also would like to know more about her a little more. From the outsiders, I really like the way the author describes each character perfectly. I would recommend this everyone because this is a great book and I think everyone should read it!

This week I have finally finished my book. The name of my book is dove and it was written by Robin Lee Graham. I have really enjoyed reading this book and I hope I will be reading more books similar to this one. The most interesting part of this book was probably when in L.A they steal all their stuff for sailing and when the dove isn't able to travel more than 200 miles over 5 days because there is no wind.
I would recommend this book to people who like reading auto-biographies of an adventurer. I would also recommend this book to people that enjoy reading non-fiction adventures.

The Outsiders

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
180 pages

I am reading The Outsiders this week. So far it has been really interesting. Ponyboy is a teenage boy who lives with his 2 brothers. He is part of a Gang called the Geasers, on day he decides to go to th e movie theatre alone and when he's done with the movie he walks home alone and he gets beaten up by a gang called the Socs, the Socs are a rich gang and they always pick on the geasers. I thught this part was very interesting because i could imagine the scene in my head so clearly. I really like home they described the scene.

I would recommend this book to teens because it is a bit complicated but it's very realistic.

This week, I am reading "Sea Dog Bamse World War II Caninne Hero". The most interesting part of the book were Bamse's advantures in Montrose, a small town on the East coast of Scotland. I would recomend this book to anyone who likes dogs, advanture and non-fiction or fiction, for I hardly beleive that the events described in the book are real.

The Story of My Life by Helen Keller (autobiography)

Name of Book: The Story of My Life (autobiography)
Author:Helen Keller
Number of pages: 225

This week I finished reading "The Story of My Life", which is an autobiography of Helen Keller. The second part of this book includes all the letters which Helen Keller wrote from 1887-1901. They explain and tell a lot about her life at that time. The first few letters were written when she was only 7, when she only started to write so they were very hard to understand. Her first letter was written only 3 1/2 months after her teacher, Miss Sullivan, started teaching her on March 3rd, 1887.  Helen Keller's first letter:

"TO HER COUSIN ANNA (MRS. GEORGE T. TURNER)
TUSCUMBIA, ALABAMA, June 17, 1887
helen write anna george will give helen apple simpson will shoot bird jack will give helen stick of candy doctor will give mildred medicine mother will make mildred new dress."
(page 115)
There is a great improvement from her first letters to her later letters and they are a lot longer as Helen Keller gets older. These letters also show that Helen always had a need to communicate with someone by writing because she couldn't speak because she was deaf. She wrote letters to many of her relatives and friends and told them about her daily life, thoughts, ideas, feelings, opinions and questions.
Here is one of Helen's letters which she wrote when she was 9 years old:
"TO MISS DELLA BENNETT
TUSCUMBIA,Alabama, Jan. 29,1889.
My dear Miss Bennett:–I am delighted to write to you this morning. We have just eaten our breakfast. Mildred is running about downstairs. I have been reading in my book about astronomers. Astronomer comes from the Latin word astra, which means stars; and astronomers are men who study the stars, and tell us about them. When we are sleeping quietly in our beds, they are watching the beautiful sky through the telescope. A telescope is like a very strong eye. The stars are so far away that people cannot tell much about them, without very excellent instruments. Do you like to look out of your window, and see little stars? Teacher says she can see Venus from our window, and it is a large and beautiful star. The stars are called the earth's brothers and sisters.
There are a great many instruments besides those which the astronomers use. A knife is an instrument to cut with. I think the bell is an instrument, too. I will tell you what I know about bells.
Some bells are musical and others are unmusical. Some are very tiny and some are very large. I saw a very large bell at Wellesley. It came from Japan. Bells are used for many purposes. They tell us when breakfast is ready, when to go to school, when it is time for church, and when there is a fire. They tell people when to go to work, and when to go home and rest. The engine-bell tells the passengers that they are coming to a station, and it tells the people to keep out of the way. Sometimes very terrible accidents happen, and many people are burned and drowned and injured. The other day I broke my doll's head off; but that was not a dreadful accident, because dolls do not live and feel, like people. My little pigeons are well, and so is my little bird. I would like to have some clay. Teacher says it is time for me to study now. Good-bye.
With much love, and many kisses,
HELEN A. KELLER"

This letter shows a great improvement from her first letter even though this letter was written only two years after her first letter. It explained some of the facts which the learned and her connections to the topic.
I recommend this book to everyone because when you are about to give up on something in life you should remember Helen Keller because even though she was deaf and blind she never gave up in life and accomplished her goal of earning a college degree.

Going Solo

Title: Going Solo
Author: Roald Dahl
Number of pages: 205

Hey everyone! I hope you liked my previous blog post and I'm looking forward to write this one also good! Enjoy!

My book is about exciting life of Roald Dahl. He had many adventures which I was amazed with! I'm slowly getting to the end of my book, so I know almost all evens that happened in Dahl's life.
In this week a read a chapter about his first airplane. He was not used to drive alone airplanes, with no one's help, especially during World War I. He decided to go for it, to take a risk, and he did it! Everyone knew that he had never administered plane on his own. Finally, that moment came. Is he going to crash in the plane and embarrassed him forever, or is he going to fly like a bird and land a plane like a real pilot. He was thinking, what if he's going to crush? But no, he didn't. On some way he landed the plane safely by collecting power, strength  and courage. When he got out of the plane everyone was proud of him, and everyone though that he was a brave, good pilot, and their thoughts were right.
They continued to practise more and more. Suddenly they decided to go the Athens. They organized some festival but people didn't know about it. From nowhere they appeared in the sky one by one. People were amazed as me as I was reading a book. They administered planes on a beautiful way. It seemed like they were connected with thier planes, like they felt something. But as I already said, these event were happening during World War I. Many planes arrived near them on the clear sky, but those weren't planes from their group, those were the planes who were fighting for their country in World War I. They had no idea that Roald and his team weren't in the World War I. They just wanted to show people what they could do with planes, to show people their connection with planes. But people from World War I didn't know that and they attacked them. They crashed one plane but Roald and other people could ran away. They did it, and they were really scary. The whole show was destroyed, and they were a little bit sad. Of course, Roald wrote a letter to mum as always, because he had connection with her. Also, i think this was the most interesting part because it has many rising actions, it keeps you interesting while you're reading.
I'm really looking forward to finish my book, and I hope you are to read my blog posts! Than you! :)

The most interesting part is when the Mongolians leave Europe after the great and interesting battle that took place over the plains of Hungary. I would recommend this book to place my age and adults because its not to hard language and its very interesting. This book is very descriptive and shows all the aspects of the Mongolian Empire.

The outsiders

This week i couldn't start to shot for help, but they cover his mouth, so he desperately bites on the guy who has his hand over anything new because the thing i was planing to use because my dad took what i wanted with him so I am writing about the "Outsiders" by S.E. Henton. The book has 180 pages. As the two classes are reading it and i have read a lot further than the first chapter i will only use thing from there. The most interesting part in the first chapter is that Ponyboy is coming back from the movies and as he is walking he notices that a group of Socs are ganging up on him. So he starts walking faster to try getting away from them and t get to where his own gang is. But they catch up with him and pin him down so he cant protect him self in anyway. Then they take out a blade on him an say that they will cut his hair. Then he starts his mouth and it starts bleeding. Then they but a gag in his mouth. Then as he starts to loose concussion he sees his attackers run away and he sees that his oldest brother hauls him up to his feet. I would recommend this book to anyone it is a really awesome book.

The Red Pyramid

Name: Sooyoung Byun
Grade: 7A
Title: The Red Pyramid
Author: Rick Riordan

The book that I am currently reading is called the Red Pyramid written by Rick Riordan. It is a book about ancient Egypt and about the Egyptian gods. It is a series and there are other Rick Riordan series called the Percy Jackson series. The book is about two boy and girl siblings who are trying to get their father back who is a magician and got captured by Egyptian gods trying to get their mother back from the death. My favorite part of the book till now is when Sadie and Carter both find out that their father is a magician and all that and they suddenly panic and think that they are in a dream or something. I would recommend this book to people who love Rick Riordan's books and people who love thick but simple and fantasy-fun books. I would recommend this to my classmates especially to Petra, Noah, and Bethany but I think they read this!!

Warriors Super Edition: Crookedstar's Promise

Title: Warriors Super Edition: Crookedstar's Promise
Author: Erin Hunter
Number of Pages: 491

Right now I am re-reading the Super edition from the series warriors called Crookedstar's Promise, the most interesting part of the book is when Stormkit (Crookedstar as a kit) was chased by Goosefeather (Thunderclan medicine-cat) onto the stepping stones and as Stormkit jumped on the stones he slipped and hit his jaw onto a stone falling into the water, after he wakes up in the medicine den in his own clan called Riverclan, he feels strong pain in his jaws being unable to move them. The medicine cat Brambleberry says he is just recovering..... after days of resting he is finally allowed to get outside the den, having missed his mother which had never visited him he was happy to be outside in the sunshine. Many of his clan-mates come to congratulate him as he came out, but Stormkit soon realizes though even though all the nice words and congratulations no one wall actually looking at his face. Fear grows inside of him as he burst through the crowd of cats heading for a puddle on the opposite side of the camp... as he looks at the reflection he does not recognize himself, the cat in the reflection was not him, it was a horrible cat with is jaw twisted to the side so it was hanging out at one side and not visible on the other side with his tough lolling out...... He was never welcomed to his mother anymore because of his ugliness, his mother made the decision, the leader announced his new name... he was born in a storm... but his name would forever make him remember how he looked.... he was not Stormkit anymore.... he was Crookedkit...
I would recommend this book to people who like cats and can handle reading sad books, probably not of too young people since it has many descriptive words and a lot fights with blood.

The Outsiders, Chapter One

The Outsiders
Author: S.E Hinton
Number of Pages: 180

In chapter one of the book The Outsiders it explains how one of the members, Ponyboy from the gang called the "Greasers" Ponyboy gets beaten up on the way back from a Paul Newman movie he had just watched. He loved movies and books, unlike most of his other gang members. He liked to go watch the movies alone but usually liked someone to accompany him on the way back home since it "wasn't safe" for them (gang members) because they usually got beaten up by another gang called the "Socials or Socs." And that is exactly what happened, Ponyboy got beaten up by the Socs but luckily a few minutes later his fellow gang members came to help him. He pretended it was no big deal even though he was very hurt after being punched in the face a few times. Ponyboy wasn't the only one who had gotten beaten up by the "Socs" and he hadn't experienced the worst...

So far this book has been very interesting and I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

I also think this book gives a good message to us and it is also realistic fiction which is my favorite genre. In conclusion this book was really good and I hope to read more books by this author in the future!

Moonwalk

Title: Moonwalk
Pages: 289
Author: Michael Jackson

I just finished reading the book Moonwalk by Michael Jackson. My favorite part of the book was when he started his solo career and when he recorded his first song "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" because that is when his pop career started. I mostly recommend this book to people who are fans of Michael Jackson. Most of the information in the book are about important points of his career and not his personal life. People who are interested in the mystery of his personal life will not find it in this book. I am a fan and I liked to learn about his childhood performances and his beginning of his solo career. I especially liked reading facts about recording his song and videos. He changed the way the videos were made and even music. People who want to read about a great musician who changed the world should read this book.

This week I am reading the book "The mark of Athena" by Rick Riordan. This book is a fantasy novel concerning mythology (Greek and Roman). So far the most interesting part was when the Argo II (Greek floating battleship) manned by a Greek demigod started to fire on new Rome. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of earlier Percy Jackson books, fans of Harry Potter, or fans of the series Artemis Fowl.

Author - Malcolm Gladwell
Number of pages read - 60

This week I am reading book Outliers. Most interesting part of the book is 10,000 hour rule. It is about how did Bill Gates succeeded in 10 years. In ten years he became one of the most famous people in the world. He is owner of Microsoft. Microsoft is big company that makes tools for computer. Bill Gates is the second richest person in the world. Also interesting part of the book is about Canadian athletes. The question is: why are all Canadian athletes born in same year in month. It is because if you are older you are stronger. If you are younger you are weaker, but if you are born in same month and year like everybody else  you are same strength. I recommend this book to people who love sports and computers because this is new book. Also people who love economy should read it. Let's make it easier. I would recommend it to everybody.

One Direction

Author: Danny White
Title: The One Direction Story
Number of pages: 241

Something that  I found interesting was that there are lots of levels in the x Factor t.v program. Also that i find interesting is that they all have something different for example Harry likes to flirt a lot, Zayn likes to look good, Louis is the funny guy, Liam tries to be cool, and Nail likes Justin Bieber so he is called a Beliber. They all have different personalities. Someone that I recommend this book to is Elena  because she LOVES One Direction.

The Code Book
Simon Singh

This book is about codes. Obviously. Now, why would there be a book written about codes? Why, exactly, do we need these codes of ours? To play tricks on our friends? To put random codes into a bottle and see who's dumb enough to try to decrypt it? No, believe it or not. Codes are necessary to people to need to send a very important message. Imagine you needed to send an extemely important and top-secret message to your friend, and you didn't want anyone to be able to read it. Of course, you'd use a cipher, which is a method of replacing letters to basically hide the meaning of your message behind a meaningless jumble of letters. You could use all kinds of different ciphers, some more complex than others, to hide your message. Whether it be a top-secret message between governments, a formula for a special drink, or just the name of your best friend's crush, codes can help us in so many ways.

tree research final draft

Science, research

Trees and soil, our hope. For generations they helped our planet live. Until one day people began to cut down those trees, and began to make hundreds of products. Soil couldnt and still cant help to stop the humans to cut down trees. And not only humans are hurting the trees but also disseases. over 25 million trees are cut down every single year and over 5,000 products are made from trees. Why are we humans cutting down our only hope that can let us live? Do those people even care that what they are doing? I think not. Anyway, trees can give us two things: Oxygen and Food. And there are over 23 thousand different kind of trees. Another good thing is that trees also have doctors; the woodpeckers because they are like scanners that land on a spot on the tree, drills inside of it with its beek and immediately find a green slug poisoning the tree. There are not only normal tree diseases but also food tree diseases. These are the diseases: Sycamore anthracnose,
Oak Anthracnose, Ash anthracnose and Maple anthracnose. And another thing: what can we do to stop this endless war? continue it or stop it? Thats a pretty hard decition.

So in conclusion, I have only one thing to say: Cut those trees down, if you want our planet to die! I dont care, but I really care about trees.

Thank you for reading my blog post about trees. This took me hard because my first one got deleted and I started all over again. But still I made it. Here are the websites I used. Some of them are helpfull but we stopped working on trees and soil right?

Michael Moore
Here comes trouble
427pg

This is an autobiography so it has many conflicts that happen during the persons whole life. One of the conflicts is when Michael's mother dies. She died from a sickness, she maybe could have survived if Michael took her to a better hospital. He drove her to the closer hospital instead of the one that's further away, but is better. It is external and internal conflict because his mother is dying which is external, he is blaming him self for her death because he brought her to the worse hospital and his mother is dying which is hard to deal with, so that is internal. The conflict was introduced in a chapter and it was only mentioned in that chapter. I cant write how I think it will be solved, because she just dies and thats the conflict for only one chapter.

Marie Antoniette, Blog Post.

 Title of book: Marie Antoinette
Author of book: Antonia Fraser
Number of pages: 458
Number of pages read:Finished :)

 Hello Everyone,

Today, unlike all other of my blog posts I am able to inform you that I've finished reading my book. Marie Antoinette unfortunately had a very sad ending. In the last few chapters of the book, one of the most unfortunate events happened. Marie got poisoned. This misfortune led to her death, and that's where the conflict ended. As well know, the fact that she's dead is sad, but when someone dies we can’t do anything about it. Due to this, I have figured that this is the main conflict of the story, the conflict occurs in the middle to the ending of the story, and the climax is when the planning of it starts. Im heartbroken that the conflict cannot be solved, and that Marie had to die at a young age, but at least she ended up being at a better place.
Since I have finished this story, now I can judge it, and say whether or not it should be recommended to other people. An honest rate of this story would be a 7/10. The reason I gave it this score is because It was good, interesting but It did have so many new and difficult passages and words. I would not recommended unfortunately, to the people in my class because it is very serious, and it can be very confusing. Don’t get me wrong though, the whole book is very informational, and not to mention after reading it you will have improved at least about fifty words in your word choice, and it may even be a huge inspiration for you. I personally though, think that most people in our class except maybe a few people that have a very high reading level and that like books with unsolved/sad endings. But all in all I enjoyed this book, and I am glad that I learned something new from it.
