A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen

A Street Cat Named Bob
Author: James Bowen
Number of Pages: 277

In the book "A Street Cat Named Bob" there are two main characters. James Bowen and Bob (the street cat). Bob is a bulky ginger tabby cat. He loves people and loves to be center of attention and to be pet. He is a sincere pet who loves his owner and always will. Bob is a very unique cat, he sits on his owners shoulder and rides on the bus with his owner too. He also wears a leash. In addition to all of that, he also enjoys sitting on the sofa and watching T.V. The other main character is James Bowen, also the author of this book. Bowen is Bob's owner. Even though he had a rough start to his life since he met Bob everything has been just right :)! James is a very kind person who will always protect his loved ones no matter what. He doesn't busking and not having the greatest life in the world let him down, he always keeps trying and will never give up. He won't go home until he's made enough money to feed himself and Bob even if it means staying up until 4 o'clock in the morning! Him and Bob are truly unified and will never leave each other's sides, without each other they are nothing...

Passage (Bob)

"I hadn't seen him around the flats before, but even in the darkness I could tell there was something about him, I could already tell that he has something of a personality. He wasn't the slightest bit nervous, in fact, the complete opposite. There was a quiet, unflappable confidence about him. He looked like he was very much at home here in the shadow and to judge by the way he was fixing me with a steady, curious, intelligent stare, I was the one who was straying into his territory."
