Warriors Super Edition: Crookedstar's Promise

Title: Warriors Super Edition: Crookedstar's Promise
Author: Erin Hunter
Number of Pages: 491

Right now I am re-reading the Super edition from the series warriors called Crookedstar's Promise, the most interesting part of the book is when Stormkit (Crookedstar as a kit) was chased by Goosefeather (Thunderclan medicine-cat) onto the stepping stones and as Stormkit jumped on the stones he slipped and hit his jaw onto a stone falling into the water, after he wakes up in the medicine den in his own clan called Riverclan, he feels strong pain in his jaws being unable to move them. The medicine cat Brambleberry says he is just recovering..... after days of resting he is finally allowed to get outside the den, having missed his mother which had never visited him he was happy to be outside in the sunshine. Many of his clan-mates come to congratulate him as he came out, but Stormkit soon realizes though even though all the nice words and congratulations no one wall actually looking at his face. Fear grows inside of him as he burst through the crowd of cats heading for a puddle on the opposite side of the camp... as he looks at the reflection he does not recognize himself, the cat in the reflection was not him, it was a horrible cat with is jaw twisted to the side so it was hanging out at one side and not visible on the other side with his tough lolling out...... He was never welcomed to his mother anymore because of his ugliness, his mother made the decision, the leader announced his new name... he was born in a storm... but his name would forever make him remember how he looked.... he was not Stormkit anymore.... he was Crookedkit...
I would recommend this book to people who like cats and can handle reading sad books, probably not of too young people since it has many descriptive words and a lot fights with blood.
