This story takes place in Florida the Gulf Coast this book is by Carl Hiaasen in Florida where Roy meets two friends that are owls and a enemy which is a pancake house that is getting built where the owls home.Roy is trying to save them by stopping the construction and trying to help the owls to stay in their habitat.
The story starts when Roy Eberhardt and Logan Lerman
have moved so often he has lost track of how many times he has changed schools. After moving from Montana to Florida's Gulf Coast with his best friends Beatrice Brie Larson
and her brother. The siblings show Roy their
secret place where they secretly take care of wild owls. When they learn that a restaurant will be built where the owls live, the three of them decide to get help of a local policeman Luke Wilson to save the endangered birds.
This is a very good summary! It sounds like a very interesting book. I would like to read it.
