The book Charlie Joe Jackson's guide to summer vacation  is a fun book written by Tommy Greenwald, that shows you that you can change. It is a great book and it is a very nicely written book. The main protagonist is Charlie Joe Jackson and he is sent to a summer school camp and he is trying to make the kids stop reading and writing. The conflict is man vs fate. Young Charlie Joe Jakson is firstly pick for the basketball captain and then starts reading books.He is picked for the news reporter and a teacher called Ms. Domerca helps him reveal his inside nerd and makes him start reading.She was his favorite teacher because she stood up for him. Later on he helps a friend named Lauren to skip a test because Jared the antagonist wants to copy her work. The antagonist is a young boy Charlies age called Jared. He is a faker. he says he did everything but he is using a girl called Lauren. Jared thinks he is the best and he is trying to get to the highs of his brother that is known as the best student at the camp. On the end Charlie gets in big trouble because of Lauren but no one knows that. She says that he just helped her and that's how Charlie gets a scholarship.
