This week i have read much further into the book and i have read a pretty upsetting thing. Nate's best friend, Abby McCall is going blind and she is only 13. She has started to lose her night vision and her peripheral vision. She still wants to have and throw a football with Nate to help him get prepared for the big day but she cant see so she can't run or can barely run without tripping or bumping into anything.
What Nate and Abby have is special, they are so close friends that almost nothing can split them up, they are two peas in a pod. Wherever Abby goes Nate is always happy to go with her and Abby would do the same for him.
