Sand and Stone

Genre: Short story Sand and stone is a story with a very strong moral to it. It might be short but it gets to the point. The story goes when 2 friends are in a dessert and and they have an argument, one of the friends slaps the other. The one that got slapped was hurt so he wrote in the sand "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME!" Later on in the day they go to swine and the friend who got slapped gets stuck and starts to drown. The second friend gets to him and saves him. The other friend is happy and not hurt so he engraves in stone "MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE". The friend who slapped the other said "when I hurt you you wrote in the sand and now, you wrote in the stone, why is that?" The other friend replied "when something hurts we write it in the sand so the wind can blow it away and we can forget it, but then something good happens, we must engrave it to keep it forever." So the mol is to put the bad past way and keep the good.
