The second chapter of the book is nothing too interesting, kind of a repeat of the giant. The chapter talks about the Big Friendly Giant and what he does and his appearance swell as his personality. For a re-cap the BFG is a 24 foot giant with immense speed and super-human hearing. His job is to "suck" bad dreams out of children and replaces them with good ones. It also explains the occupation of the other giants which are evil and eat chidden, also they are much bigger than the BFG. Beside the recap, the BFG needs to tell the girl and convince her to not tell anyone as if she does people will go on a giant hunt.
