Sahara never thought of herself as the best student, or the best person. She never thought about what were the possibilities with her so-called Great Writing Skills which her teacher told her she had. She never thought that she could be more than what she is now. That will all change when Ms. Pointy persuades her to try her best and never give up, in life and on a blank piece of
paper. No one knows about her incredible gift to write. Sahara never remembers any of the things she writes in her class journal. She writes in a moment and then new and greater ideas pop into her head about what else she is going to write next class.
Ms. Pointy thinks that she has a lot of potential to live up to but she also says that she needs to work very hard to work up to her potential and to her dreams.
Even though Ms. Pointy thinks that Sahara has a lot to live up to, only one other person knows too...Rachel. Rachel is Sahara's one and only friend (not including Ms. Pointy). She can only trust her and Ms. Pointy with all of her secrets, feelings, and writing.
