The conflict is man vs. society. In my story is that the faction Erudite is trying to control all of the other factions. They injected the faction Dauntless with a serum that puts them under a simulation and tells them to kill off all the Abnegation and the only way to stop it was to go to Dauntless Headquarters and fight there way to the control room where Tobias (he is under the simulation) is keeping watch and will kill anyone that enters the control room. When Tris goes to the control room he almost shoots her until she gives up and hands him his gun while talking to him saying things like "Tobias you need to hear me" and "I can't shoot you and i know you wouldn't shoot me". Right when Tris thinks its too late he lowers his gun and looks really puzzled and surprised he's pointing a gun at her. They have a mushy reunited part then they rip out the hard-drive from the computer, thus solving the problem at hand. I am reading the second book and it is almost over and they still haven't defeated Erudite but this was the main problem in first book.
