The climax of the story is when Mort and Ysabel are riding on a flying horse and are going to go and get the princes but Deaths soul was in side of morts body and Ysabel had to try and get death out of Morts body. Once Ysabel got death out of Morts body, they heard a scream of terror disappearing into the distance  they went to  go watch the princes leave to another dimension.
