Anne of Green Gables 5

I am so very and incredibly close to finishing this book and what has happened  now was that Diana's grandmother has invited Anne and Diana to visit her in the city and stay with her for the weekend. While they are there they eat ice cream at fancy restaurants at eleven at night, going to shows, waling int eh streets, operas, and simply having a blast together as bosom friends. Diana states that whole they are eating their elven o'clock night time ice cream that she was born for city life,and when Mrs. Barry asks Anne she says she has to think about it. After she goes to bed she starts to think deeply about the question. For she loves the city with its lights, ice cream at elven o'clock, but she also loves her Green Gables, with trees, and land, and the wind blowing at night so that she can hear it and it can sweep her thoughts away. IN the morning she decides that Anne of Green Gables is her true home and that is where she would liek to live. Yes it is a thrill, once in a wh9ile, to go to the city and live like a city girl, but then comes the time to come home, and the most thrilling part of the adventure is the journey back home.
