The Bridge to Neverland Part 2
Like i mentioned in my last blog post, The Bridge to Neverland is the book created by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
After the kids and J.D found a sanctuary for them to stay in they found out who was one of the engineers who helped keep the island safe and deserted, but may still be alive. Hopefully the old and wise man was friends with J.D's great grandpa which would probably mean that he would share even more of his knowledge to them, but because this book is so fantastic and always keeps the reader interested, when they came to the old mans house they found out he was dead, BUT his wife was alive and right there in front of them. So without wasting time the kids and J.D asked if she knew something about the bridge. At first the old women didn't want to give away anything and almost kicked them out but something caught sarah's eye. The old women had the same neckless as sarah had. And as soon as sarah pointed that out the women felt more safe and relaxed and told them everything she knew. Later she handed sarah the locket and sarah opened it. Inside it said "Feed the bird when ben says." After thinking nonstop and mumbling out 100 of guesses about the quote they found out who/what ben is. Big Ben! All the things match up. Its name is Ben and it tells time. But they they though even more. Why would the old the man hide the bridge somewhere he never even visited. Then Aidan figure out that it's not the real big Ben in London that it's the small one in disneyland, on the Peter Pans ride. Through out the book they figure out that the old man did work in disneyland as the engineer so it all added up. After they went on the ride they saw big Ben and the Crow but don't know what to do with it. That's where i stopped, read next blog to figure out what happened!
