This book is about a girl called Katniss (nicknamed catnip) who is selected to go to an annual Hunger Games where 12 boys and 12 girls fight to the death with spears and bows and all other stuff. The arena isn't safe either, because its trying to kill them too.
This book is VERY descriptive which isn't the best at times with spears and bows and all that blood and.. I'm not going to say the rest because 1) its gross and 2) I would spoil the story. What I WILL tell you though, is that it's going to be action packed and awesome! Read it to find out!
