France Paris 1789 is a poor country, the king will let starve all the poor, and take all their money from them so he and his rich aristocrat friends, can gamble, afford expensive jewelry, eat expensive dinners, and be entertained by little performances.
Yann Margoza is a boy whom has a special gift, and its destiny is to use it for good, he is able to read people minds, but until he becomes a hero he works as a fake doll and being a fortune teller, in a poor little circus in Paris. He is not alone his mentor Têtu is also part of this circus, he is the helper of the main actor Topolitan.
They are mysteriously called to performed in the king’s castle, there is where Yann meets Sido the daughter of the foolish Marquis de Villeduval , nobody ever talks about her she is always forgotten, and unloved. When is time For the show to be done, Topolitan and Têtu realized they recognize someone in the crowd, a person Topolitan and Têtu wanted to forget forever the “Devil”.
It so too late to cancel the show and they need to go through it, and that is when disaster happens Topolitan, is murdered but Yann’s adventure just started and it won’t be simple, going against the devil.
I just read only 43 pages of the book and I am so into it, I think I will read it faster than the last one!
