The Game Of Their Lives Part 2)

The Game Of Their Lives

Reading on from where I left off, the book talks about the characters individually and how they were on the field. Every soccer player either was really good, or really bad, bu no matter which one of these the player was, it was written in a humorous way. Different writing techniques have been included by the writer which make the sentences more detailed and less confusing. Adding quotes from what  the actual people who played in the games said is something the writer has done throughout the whole book which gives the reader a good idea of what to think and understand. Since chapter 6-8 explanations of games being played have started and I think this is where the excitement starts! I particularly like this book because it reminds me of the ISB team, how every person is different but we all have our buddies who we relate to during the game.It talks for example of the goalie who was a talker and could throw the ball past the half, just like our goalie, or the person who could pass anyone. Since this year was the last year we as in the close friends from 7th and 8th grade got to play together, it remind me of the book in which this tournament is the last tournament the guys played in together. And hopefully, the ending will be just as good and great as ours!
