The Game Of Their Lives Part 4

This week I got somewhat past the half of the book. In this part of the book, it still explains the players of individuals but it concentrates on a man called Charley Colombo. Charley Colombo was usually thought of as the toughest and dirtiest player on the team. He believed that there was no such thing as hurt. If something wouldn't fit him he would do something about it. It has quotes of his teammates commenting on him and saying what the spectators would say. They would always think he never got hurt, but in the changing room when he took his clothes off he would have bruises everywhere. This section of the book also talks about the relationships between the players, with this, I now know that a man Gino Pariani was the best friend of Charley. However much thought he might have been, he died in 1986 in his home because of cancer. Then, it also talked about the fist game the Americans played and how they were getting beaten and so on. The last thing it talked about, where the game techniques, how people could play and so on. What I found the most interesting was that substitutes were not allowed until 1970, meaning if you got hurt, no one could replace you. So after all, this part of the book has been pretty exciting and hopefully will get even more exciting at the end.
