Havoc by Chris Wooding. Genre Fiction

This is the second book in series. The first book is called Malice. To read my review on that click here. In this book Seth is stuck in the real world whilst his friends Kady and Justin are in Malice searching for the famous Havoc. Havoc is an organisation of rebel kids that fight back against Tall Jake They were previously led by Kady but she doesn't know that because when you leave Malice your memory gets wiped. Whilst kady and Justin are tracking down Havoc Seth is having his own problems. Seth is trying to remember what happened in Malice and he keeps on getting flashbacks but he can't remember. Until he goes in Kadie's house and finds a peculiar object, It looks like an octopus that is wrapped around a strange egg shaped object. Suddenly all of his memories flood back to him. This object has the Shard trapped inside of it. The shard is the only creature that can stop Tall Jake. Later on he is being chased by a mutated cyborg lion that is after the Shard when he comes across a girl from the year above him. It turns out that she also believes in Malice and is trying to stop herself from going there. Soon after Seth finds himself back in Malice and rejoins Kady and Justin. A few weeks later the battle against Tall Jake commences.
