Insurgent: Conflict

For my book report this semester I have chosen to read Insurgent, by: Veronica Roth, which I have fully completed. This novel is set in Chicago, to be more specific in the Factionless, Erudite, Candor, and Amity headquarters; with a futuristic twist to it. The state is no longer divided with cities, but headquarters of six civilizations (factions) that are living inside of it; Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless, Erudite, and Factionless. The two main conflicts in this novel were man vs. self and man vs. man. In the case of the conflict were the protagonist, Tris faces against herself after her parents and friends, Will’s death. Were as in the man vs. man conflict Tris and Tobias are faced against Jeanine Mathews, who strives to kill off all of the Divergent.
